Stuart Moss
For several years, I have dedicated my time to teaching and training dogs for myself, my family, and close friends. Throughout this journey, I have consistently expanded my knowledge by attending multiple courses and actively staying up-to-date with the latest research and modern training methods.
I am now filled with enthusiasm to share the wealth of knowledge and experience I have accumulated over time in order to assist individuals who are facing difficulties with their dogs. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with various breeds, ranging from playful puppies to mature dogs, as well as rescued canines from both the UK and overseas. These dogs have often presented a diverse range of behavioral challenges.
Recognizing that each dog has unique requirements, along with their owner's expectations, I employ a diverse range of training techniques tailored to suit their individual needs. Through my affiliation as an accredited trainer at the prestigious Will Atherton Academy, coupled with my status as an approved canine principles expert, I am equipped to collaborate closely with you to identify the most effective methods and tools for training your dog.
Meet the Family
LEO
Meet Leo, our charming rescue dog from Romania, who is approximately 6 years old.

We welcomed Leo into our family when he was just a sprightly two-year-old pup.
His mysterious past remains a puzzle to us, but we do know that he was discovered living in the wild, displaying signs of shyness and timidity.
Fast forward to today, and Leo has blossomed into a serene and affectionate companion. Standing at over 40kg, he's a hefty hound with a heart of gold. His favorite pastimes include frolicking in the great outdoors and romping around the garden.
Leo is a sucker for snuggles and adores being showered with pets and strokes.

Having Leo in our lives is an absolute joy, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have him by our side.
Leo truly is a treasure worth more than all the bones in the world.
TORSO
Meet Torso, the beloved dog of my grown-up daughter, who is a sprightly 7 years old.
When they moved back in with us during the Covid-19 lockdown, it became clear that Torso had some issues with reactivity and pulling on the leash.
Taking him for a walk was like trying to wrangle a tornado. But with dedication and hard work from all of us, we were able to help Torso overcome these challenges.
The transformation was truly remarkable and incredibly satisfying to witness.
Now, walking Torso is a breeze (well, most of the time). He absolutely adores sprinting around the garden or park, chasing after his favorite ball, and then plopping down for a well-deserved nap.
Torso has brought us endless joy and we couldn't be prouder of the progress he's made. He's not just a dog, he's a furry bundle of happiness that brightens our days.
CHARLIE (2012 - 2020)
Charlie was my wife's first dog, and let me tell you, he was one smart cookie. This Border Collie lived up to the hype of being a brainiac in the dog world.

We welcomed him into our family when he was 18 months old, and let's just say, he had some untapped potential.
His excess energy sometimes led to some not-so-friendly encounters.
​
But once we tapped into his genius and gave him some brain-teasing games and training, he transformed into the calm, cool, and collected family dog we always knew he could be.
​
Unfortunately, Charlie's journey came to an end at the start of the COVID lockdown, as he battled aggressive cancer.
​
Rest in peace, Charlie.
You were one heck of a smart pup.
FERB
Introducing Ferb, the newest addition to the Moss Dog Training family!
Ferb is a Bedlington Terrier x Whippet, making him a unique and spirited pup.
He belongs to my son, who has raised him from a tiny puppy and guided him through our puppy training program.
However, like many dogs, Ferb hit a rebellious teenage phase and needed a refresher course in obedience.
​
Ferb's favorite pastime is showing off his lightning-fast speed by chasing after his ball and bringing it back for another round. He also loves playing breed enrichment games at home to keep his mind sharp and boredom at bay.
Ferb is a fantastic pup who injects new energy into our older dogs, Leo and Torso. With his playful spirit and zest for life, Ferb is a welcome addition to our furry family.
